“Thanks a lot Monika, it was a truly helpful session… I came across fotoinshadows (Monika Borys) on YouTube shorts and something told me to check the channel for more info. I had been looking for tips and photography info like lighting, equipment, composition, etc for sometime. There are a lot of videos on YouTube but Monika’s channel stood out to me because: a) The instruction and information was very clear especially for beginners b) Monika demonstrated what she was talking about c) Monika was generous in giving out the info on how she works d) Her videos had different content to tackle different issues e) She communicated everything in simple language - not in very technical lingo. I watched a few of her videos, compared my skills, had questions, and then contacted her. She was prompt in replying and we booked a consultation. The consultation was very helpful. I shared my questions beforehand along with my pictures and the kind of images I wanted. We discussed many things over the video call, including lighting, composition, angles. I showed her my equipment. Monika gave a few suggestions, answered my queries, explained technical things, showed her equipment, and encouraged me to experiment.
